One of the main assets of this tool is the fact that whatever changes you perform on your files, they will not become permanent until you hit the “Apply” button. The program’s simple interface is split into two main panels - one showing the original filenames, and another one showing the results of the actions taken. This way you can concatenate as many filename cleaning and/or changing actions as needed, knowing that none of the changes will be final unless you want them to.
The program offers you two clean-up possibilities which are closely connected. The “Simple Cleanup” dialog allows you to select which actions you want to perform in your filenames mainly to get rid of unnecessary or wrong characters, such as the underscore, non-standard apostrophes, or those hexadecimal numbers that come with some URLs.
